Special new Herm Sprenger method of chrome plating helps to reach outstanding quality smooth plated surface probably without equal in the world of metal prong/pinch collars. The whole process of electroplating is under constant laboratory control of Herm Sprenger specialists. When special mirror bright polishing procedure (which not only removes non-metalic things from the surface (as in manufacturing of usual prong collars) but also makes the surface much smoother) is finished, a thin layer of chromium is electroplated upon it. After that the quality of plating is tested by means of bending. Chromium plating increases tensile strength of the item. All parts of the collar are welded, so it will serve your dog for a long time.
